here it is, monday morning… back from the moon.
alan bean, lunar module pilot on Apollo 12 said that. actually, i’m sure EVERY astronaut who went to the moon said, “back from the moon…” it’s monday, i’m trying to make a point.
last week i was in another world, one that was not like my own. now i’m back on my own planet seeing that life carried on just fine without me while i was on the moon for 7 days. did a lot of thinking in that week, did a lot of looking out the window, exploring new landscapes, wondered if my life support would last the length of the mission, complained about the food, jettisoned objects that were dead weight, waged battles of will and sometimes, tried to have some fun.
i’m now going to acclimate my lungs to the atmosphere.
as i promised, i will post the graphic novel that i did for my first semester MFA studio project. i should really call it a comic book because it is only 44 pages long. a graphic novel would be much longer.
here is the cover. more later.
Welcome back Frank. Glad to see that you survived. Look forward to seeing your graphic novel!
