I started a new sketchbook yesterday.  The first few pages of any sketchbook are simultaneously scary and exciting.

This sketchbook is something that I’ll be carrying with me for the next several months, so a good relationship is a must.  If it doesn’t feel right (which I’ve done several times in the past) I’ve trashed books that only have two or three pages worked on.

They’re not really “broken in” to me until about ten to twelve pages in.

Here’s hoping this is a good relationship.
