Bob’s tree 24 hours later
24 hours later and Bob’s tree is a memory. Big thanks to Scott Crouse and his crew of Crouse Tree Removal for doing such a quick and professional job.
Storm aftermath…
Central New York had a tornado warning a few hours ago… Yeah, a TORNADO.
I thought we’d weather it okay, but I was a little wrong. The winds took out Bob’s tree in our backyard. Just tipped the thing over like it was a stick in the ground. No one was hurt, save for my garden and fence.
The tree came within five feet of my neighbors house. It was a close call. If the wind were coming from another direction, the tree would have ended up in my studio.
I was wondering what I would do for the next set of comic strips… guess I wondered too loud.
