So I’m sitting in my morning meeting at the Daily Sentinel… mid-meeting, the conference door opens.  In walks my wife (who also works for the newspaper) along with the ENTIRE office.

In her hands, hot off the presses, was this.  A four page spread about Bob, me and what the strip means to fans across town and the world.

Yet again, I am struck speechless.  I honestly didn’t know what to say at that moment… or even now.  I want to thank everyone involved with this… from the fans, the advertisers, the salespeople, the newsroom (Nicole Elliott– the mind of a squirrel… weird place, huh?) the designers, the pressmen… everyone.  This is one Squirrel Appreciation Day I will NEVER forget.
